Lazy Weekend - Perfect Weekend
Was absent yesterday from the blog. Sat down to write something here twice in the day, but was running a fever and could not eventually bring myself to write anything. Woke up today without a trace of fever. YAY!!! and here I am.
Sis dear is home finally and keeps me busy with all the chit chat for hours at a stretch. We both get on like a house on fire and luckily for me, where I love to cook she loves to eat. Sometimes I wonder where all the food goes - she is so petite. I wish I had a metabolism like her !
By the way I did manage to save the muffins for her and a little vanilla cake too. It did not last long though. We were up till 2 AM and decided to call it a night when we ran out of the muffins and the cake. I have beenrequested ordered to bake again.
Generally on weekends I spend a lot of time with my family and the meals are typical Indian home cooking. The only contribution I made to the meals yesterday was the salad.
It took me quite some time to fix the salad - know why??? Well, I was fascinated by the lovely red radish and spent some time admiring it and then a little more capturing it on my camera so that you can admire it too.
Diwali gifts have started pouring in - I can smell the festivities in the air. I absolutely love this time of the year.
By the way I have planned something special for the Diwali gifts this year - shhh. Hopefully I will have the time to get them materialized. More on that later this week.
Also, for the sunday dinner there is something special on the menu. Off to some Diwali shopping now.
Have a happy Sunday!

Is it not absolutely gorgeous !!!
Another MAJOR project for me was the snacks - popcorns! They hardly took any time to make and eat. Were gone in a flash.
